Giusy Checola (Italy, 1973) is Ph.D candidate at University Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis (France) in Aesthetics, Sciences and Technologies of Arts (EDESTA doctoral school), where she studies place-making, geoaesthetics and the processes of creation of social, cultural and spatio-temporal imaginary meanings, according to a cross disciplinary and transcalar approach. Since 2015 she has been responsible for the educational and research-oriented projects promoted by Fondazione SoutHeritage for contemporary art (Matera, Italy), and former tutor of University of Ideas at Cittadellarte-Pistoletto Foundation (Biella, Italy).
