Cities in a Climate of Change: Public Art, Environmental and Social Ecologies
The University of Auckland
The conference was part of an ongoing global initiative. It was a platform for the second IAPA ceremony and was supported by an exhibition at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki, of 32 projects from seven regions of the world chosen by the Award jurors as exemplary of their kind. Together, the three parts of the programme hosted and organised by Elam School of Fine Arts, The University of Auckland and Shandong University of Art and Design, was a major opportunity to assess the ongoing development of public art globally, to network with peers from other parts of the world and build friendships that lead to commissions, collaborations and new developments.
